Britney Spears First Pregnancy

When Britney Spears was pregnant with her first child, it made headlines. First it came as rumors, which she confirmed later. It was even confirmed by a close family source that Britney Spears was pregnant since five months. Later the star herself announced the news through a letter on her official web site. The letter stated as thus, “The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together.” The letter also assured her fans with “all is well.”

The news came out in other print media. On September 14, 2005, which was a Wednesday, a leading daily of America reported that Britney had been admitted to Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, where she would undergo a C-section, and when she finally gave birth to a baby boy, another leading daily flashed the news. On the following day, on September 15, Spears again confirmed the news on her web site telling her fans that, “We are ecstatic to announce the birth of our son! Everybody is happy, healthy, and doing wonderful. Thank you all for your love and well wishes.”

Originally the doctor had given Britney the date of her delivery to be in late October or early November, but the baby arrived early in mid-September itself. Britney and Kevin welcomed young Sean Preston with joy.

In recent days Britney Spears again hit bold headlines with rumors that she may have another baby. Spears was seen in photos sporting a bikini and not her fashion model outfits. These led to speculations about her second pregnancy. Later again a leading US daily reported that Britney Spears was indeed pregnant. Her second child was to be due in early September or October.

Illustrated popular newspapers turned out scoops of Britney Spears appearing on a late night show to confirm her second pregnancy. This summed up months of guessing. The young couple is now ready to welcome the arrival of their second child on earth.
