Born in rural Louisiana of US, Britney Spears tasted success in 1998 when her debut song '... Baby, One More Time' became all the rage and made her a celebrity overnight. That day onwards Britney has sustained invariable appearance in news, hounded by paparazzi and earned millions of fans.

Before getting bald, she shed tears and then shaved her long locks. On the suggestion of parlor owner to reconsider her decision, she was determined and obstinate and decided to cut her hairs herself.

Considering her fragile mental condition, reportedly she went to rehab center many a times but as known to many she never takes the complete treatment and quits early. These happenings have made even her fans speculative of her state of mind. Her husband Kevin Federline is challenging custody of their children owing to her disturbed state of mind as remarked by his attorney.

Critics remark that Britney is suffering from severe depression and experiencing an emotionally low phase in life and that is the reason behind her unreasonable behavior. Critics support their viewpoint by giving instances of her break up with friend Paris Hilton, divorce with Kevin Federline, separation from children and low career graph have given her depression.

Whatever the critic’s reason, still Britney’s insane behavior remains a mystery to her fans.
